Ten

The sound of the fireworks in the sky is so loud, but it weirdly makes people happy. Meanwhile she is leaning on the wall of that balcony with mix up feeling. She closes her eyes. She used to wait for ten in her calendar to meet this guy. She cannot believe that it must be over now. Ten times, ten great memories. Is it really a perfection? She opens her eyes and stares at his eyes. Yes, perfection..

But like any other magical moment in this world, they both know that it should be over. It's ten already. It's over..

Nine

"Oh my God, i am so grateful that it's over!" She said it to him while they took a walk outside the theater.
"I know right! I have no idea how an action movie could be this bored, we should just leave a long time ago!" He added "i have stared you for much longer and never been bored, and i don't have to pay for that."

Eight

"I cannot believe it has to be over now. It was fun back there."
"I am sorry that your favorite band didn't show up." He glanced back at his watch.
"Your favorite band didn't show up too."
"Ya like Coldplay would play here." He laughed. "Wait up, it's 12 already!"

He put a CD, then Magic by Coldplay was played on the tape. This song is her favorite song from his favorite band. Way greater to replace the usual-cheesy-happy birthday song.

"Call it magic.. Call it true.. Call it magic, when i'm with you.."
Yes, it's magic but it wasn't real.

"Happy birthday to you, i know we only have two more tens, and just so you know, i never feel this way before, feeling this free before. I can be whoever i ever wanted to be. Thanks to you, thanks to this.." He smiled "perfection." He kissed her in the forehead and said goodbye.

Seven

"Okay, so you think you can beat me." He put on his helmet.
"Yeah, don't you think that i am a girl, so i'll be suck at sport" She teased him. He laughed and kept boasting around.

"Ready, set, GO!"

She rode her bicycle as fast as she could. He was left behind, made her laughed so badly.

Six

"Fries!"
"Gosh Chris you really know how to boost this mood up again."
"Eat this while you make up story which describe your unhappiness"
"None of this would be true, you know that, are you still okay with that?" She hesitantly asked.
"Ya whatever way to lighten your burden."

Five

Her phone rang, it's Chris.
"Hey, i know you're still out of town, we can postpone this." She answered the phone.
"Hey Fries! Turn around now." He responded on the phone but she heard his voice even closer.

She couldn't believe of what she just saw, he was right behind her. Behind that glass door. She opened it, asked him to come in.

"Whoa Chris, you said you would be out of town today."
"Ya i do, but it's ten, so i take the fastest flight to come back here." He looked so tired. "And it's a real story this time"

"Well, thank you.."

Four

"Can i have this dance?" He asked.
"Sure." She smiled and stepped up to the center of the party. It's been a long time since Prom.

Three

"I grew up on a beach, i used to help my dad went sailing on the sea, went fishing all day, we used to come home and asked mom to cook the fish we got back there." He told it with a lot of enthusiasm in his face.
"Wow, nice story, but I grew up in a mountain, i used to play with wolf at midnight." She teased him, they laughed.

They knew none of that stories were real.

Two

"Hey, it's awkward. I don't know anything about you, and you don't know anything about me. I could be a serial killer, you know." He teased her.
"Ya it's hard to believe then." She laughed at his big stomach. "You wanna know about me? Yeah i guess we should start to make up our own story. Use your imagination, be creative." She challenged him.
"Great idea!" He looked so spiritful. "Just so you know, i am not a serial killer. I am a front-runner of my band, Coldplay" he laughed. That old joke, she laughed so hard she was gonna fall off her chair.

One

"Hey, i couldn't help but see that it's your third french fries and you are sitting here by yourself. Do you wait for someone?"
"Hey i am so sorry i couldn't speak with a stranger right now. I am a silly girl who wait for her ex right at this very bar, still can be lied on the third times. Look, old story, he doesn't show up! Again! I am tired of this thing."
"Whoa slow down, calm yourself. I know it's too awkward to tell your whole life to a stranger, but believe me, i know what it feels like. I just got off a five years relationship." He replied.
"I am so sorry to hear that, it sucks right! Sometimes i just hate how he could change from a perfection to someone i barely know anymore."
"You know, i've been adored this girl for two years before i had the chance to be in a relationship with her. She was so perfect before. Then we had the relationship, started getting to know the real her. She is no longer a perfection. Then issues showed up everywhere, even the smallest one. Sometimes, i just wish that we didn't share anything, so she still could be.."
"A perfection.." She chimed.
"Exactly." He replied.

"Hey, how if we have fun a little bit, how if we try to have this perfection we were talking about?" She got an idea. "I don't know you, you don't know me. I see that we both attracted to each other. It's perfect!" She finished her line.
"How can we do that? If we date then the whole mess would be repeated itself. I would eventually know you at last, and so do you. We cannot just go on dates and know nothing, right?" He looked so attached to her idea yet confused at the same time.
"It's ten now, we would go on dates every tenth day of the month. By that following date, we should never told anything true about ourselves, we could be anything we wanted to be. We could make up any story we wanted to."
"Wow, great idea! I am so excited!" He added "but we couldn't keep tell lies about ourselves forever. There would be a time when the wall is gonna fall apart, someday. If you know what i mean."

"I guess we would do ten dates. By the tenth date, we would say goodbye and it's still a perfection.." She might sound true this time.

"Deal! I guess i would call you Fries!" He teased her.
"And what should i call you?" She asked back.
"You can call me Chris Martin." He shook her hand.
"Aha, i met a Coldplay fans. I really love Magic from their new album Ghost Stories."
"Yes, Magic is a great song, i have to admit. You have a good taste of music." He nodded. "It's nice to meet you Fries."
"Yes, it's my pleasure Chris, we"ll meet again next month on ten ya."

And that's how it began. As it goes, she profoundly realize, this thing between her and Chris would end eventually.

Yes ended, with perfection..

Not A Commercial 3: MAY be a little late

It is no longer May 23rd, right?

Well, in this case, it is not a scene from the movie (500) Days of Summer.

The Third Chance

I am looking at that wide green grass field beside me from inside the window. Imagining a face which somehow, as time goes by, starting to fade away.

It's difficult to remember it. I'm closing my eyes..

-----

"Mr. Bobby?"
That sound's ended my thought as I startled and looked at the barista's face in front of me.

"Your order, Caramel Machiato, low or regular sugar?"
"One regular please."
"Okay, please wait a second."

I waited on the line and looked around.
Then there's this pretty girl on the line beside me, waited for her coffee as well.

"Hey, hiking bag? Do you happened to go to climb Titlis as well?"
"Oh hi there, no I didn't. I'll climb the Alpen. Nice to meet you by the way."

She then pulled out the thing that I would considered to be the prettiest smile I've ever seen in the next several minutes later.

"Mr. Bobby, your machiato's ready."
"Oh yes, okay here's my money, take the changes." I suddenly felt so nervous, it's difficult for me to concentrate.

"Please move away if you have finished, so the people behind you can move forward." said the barista, reminded me of how much time has been spent as I stood there in front of cashier and did nothing.

"Okay, nice to meet you too." I said awkwardly to that girl and went out of the coffee shop.

I walked to my train gate then realized that it was my friend who bought and brought my ticket. I couldn't get through the gate, but then I decided to wait on the line anyway. The line was pretty long and if I had to wait for my friend to be here to start queuing, then I would have been left long way behind. A good decision though as --not long after that, I saw my friend came and he snuck up to join me on the line. As I turned my head behind, I saw that pretty girl far behind my line, waited for the same gate-- meant the same train.

What should I suppose to do!

-----

That green grass field is really wide. What a beautiful view! The kind of view you'll seldom see on a big city. Yes, I live in a big city, exactly at the center of Lucerne. I am bored to always see the city's skyscrapers so then I made a plan with some office mates to arrange a tour to conquer one of the highest mountain in Switzerland, mount Titlis. Yes, then I'm here, right at this train.

But my purpose has changed. That girl with a beautiful smile changes my head, changes the view.

The fact that we are in this exact same train is haunting my head. Was she that special till I should search the whole compartment? I don't even know her name.
I don't know what to do. Suddenly this whole beautiful view is fading away, like the way her face's starting to fade away right know.

I am closing my eyes.
God, please give me the second chance..

"Mr. Bobby?"
"Yeah?"
"Your machiato is ready."

I look beside me. She is here! I scratch my eyes, cannot believe of what I have just seen.
Hey! I cannot find a word. I start to panic.

"Please move away if you have finished, so the people behind you can move forward." says the barista.

"Okay nice to meet you too" what a dumb word to be said, I think that as I go outside the coffee shop.

But now I know, she will be on the line behind me in a few minutes. The new spirit starts to rise and moves my mind. The rush of endorphine fills up my head. My friend hasn't come yet, but I still queue in the train gate anyway. There he is! He sneaks up the line and give me my train ticket.

"Hey bro, wait a second."
I say it to my friend as I wait in the corner until that girl shows up in the line, moves forward passes me.

"Hey you again!" I smile to that girl, she looks like she doesn't realize that I am purposely there, wait for her.
"Hey you, the guy at the coffee shop! We meet again" She pulls out the same smile, over again. I feel like two smiles still isn't enough. I want more.
"Yeah, looks like we board on the same train, what a coincidence! What number on your train seat by the way?" I try to ask as cool as I can be.
"Well, I don't know, my friend held my ticket for me-- hey wait up!" She shouts to her friend who walks and leaves her behind.
"Sorry I must go." She points her friend then hurrying moves forward, walks faster to go after her friend.

I really am disappointed as I weakly walk to the train, watch her disappear into the crowd of other passengers. My second chance is over.

I am watching the train window, blankly seeing the landscape. The beautiful view that would have increased my enthusiasm before. But I don't see anything instead now.

The green wide grass field doesn't distract my mind out off her. I'm starting to imagine everything's fading away again and I'll get the third chance.

The third chance? I don't know.
I have blown off my first and second chance, why should I get another one?

Long Live Sean Bean!

So this is the actor who crossed my mind, not because of his good looking, nor his hilarious lovable character in television series, nor other happy and good reason. Funny thing, this actor is recognizable because of his "death in so many times". Let's give applause for...

Sean Bean !!!

Yes, it's true, Sean Bean has died in so many movies. I myself am wondering why did that happen? It happens so regularly that i can actually laugh about this. No, I never intend to be mean, but sometimes, whenever I saw him, I had most fun trying to guess whether or not he'd be afforded the rare privilege of seeing his character survive until the end of the film.
So, taken from IGN and FSR, this is the compilation of Sean Bean in some movies. Enjoy!

THE MOVIES WHERE SEAN BEAN DIED

The Field (1990)
In 1990's The Field, Bean played an peaceful Irish farmer. And if there was ever a more massive clue that death was seeking the man out, Final Destination-style, it was watching Bean's McCabe get driven off a cliff, almost comically, by a herd of stampeding cattle.

Patriot Games (1992)
Bean first became known to US audiences thanks to his vengeful role opposite Harrison Ford in Patriot Games. As a villain in this movie, he was getting to beat by both a metal pole and a massive anchor.

Goldeneye (1995)
In this one of the best James Bond Movie, Bean actually got the special privilege where he (sort of) die twice, as his traitorous 006 Agent, Alec Trevelyan, was thought to be dead for half the movie, only to then pop up and surprise Bond later. And then get killed for real. Should have stayed "fake" dead, 006.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)

When asked, Sean Bean himself has said that this was his favorite Sean Bean death. And it's hard not to agree. If we're looking for noble exits, that is. Because Boromir's bold and brave attempt to right recent wrongs -- in a last ditch effort to undo his own huge mistake -- is some amazing cinema.
With giant arrows lodged in his torso, Boromir still fought on, doing his best to protect the tiny halflings under his charge. It wasn't enough to stop his dying thoughts from being that he himself probably caused the downfall of all humanity, but the effort was appreciated.

Equilibrium (2002)
In the totalitarian future of Equilibrium, human emotion is outlawed. Punishable by death, in fact. And so this is why Bean's Police "Cleric" Errol Partridge gets shot in the face by his own partner, played by Christian Bale.

The Island (2005)
Michael Bay's adrenaline-fueled film about cloning decided to clone one of film's long-enduring motifs - dead Sean Bean. As scheming scientist Dr. Merrick, Bean took on a rogue heroic clone who fancied not being harvested for organs, only to meet an unenviable death at the choking hand of a scaffolding chain.

Game of Thrones (TV 2011)
When Sean Bean was cast as the "lead" on HBO's Game of Thrones, those who hadn't read the George R. R. Martin books thought "Sean Bean's going to be the hero?" But then the history was repeated itself. We shouldn't let our hope high though.

Other movies where Sean Bean died [full list by IMDb]
Caravaggio (1986), War Requiem (1989), Lorna Doone (TV 1990), Clarissa (TV 1991), Scarlett (TV 1994), Airbourne (1998), Essex Boys (2000), Don't Say a Word (2001), Henry VIII (TV 2003), The Hitcher (2007), Outlaw (2007), Red Riding: In The Year of Our Lord 1974 (TV 2009), Ca$h (2010), Black Death (2010).

THE RARE MOVIES WHERE SEAN BEAN DIDN'T DIE (horray!)

Flightplan (2005)

In this Jodie Foster's psychological thriller movie, where his plane had been hijacked by a total psycho who threatened to kill everyone, Bean as the head of the pilot, and the rest of the crew got off and didn’t figure into the plot for the rest of the film. He miraculously didn’t get blown up or shot. He just walked away, free to pilot another day.

Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010)

Percy and his friends were on the hunt for Zeus’ missing lightning. Since Zeus was played by Sean Bean and he threatened war if he didn’t get the lightning back, it seemed like a final showdown where the Father of the Gods got his ass kicked seemed likely. But nope, they found the lightning and returned it, Sean Bean said thanks, and didn’t show back up for the sequel. Maybe he would’ve died in that one. Who knows?

Other rare movies where Sean Bean didn't die
Black Beauty (1994), Troy (2004), National Treasure (2004), Silent Hill (2006), Silent Hill: Revelation (2012)

Jupiter Ascending (2015)

Jupiter Ascending is the newest sci-fi flick from Tatum and Kunis, now is still played in theaters. If you haven't seen this movie (don't!), I wanna warn you that this movie is full of plot holes and storyline threads left hanging by the time the credits roll. What can be the film’s saving grace? Sean Bean off course! I applaud anyone that has to deliver the line “bees are genetically engineered to recognize royalty" with a straight face.

Five stars. For Sean Bean.

Breaking The Code

This is the first post as my dedication for two things at once.

The first part entitled The Bro Code dedicated for the upcoming NPH as host of 2015 Oscar on my favorite number and one of my favorite month at once! Yes, The Oscar will be held on February 22. Can't wait to see it! Anyway, take a look at the past when we still saw NPH on regular basis which was in HIMYM. Taken from BuzzFeed, this was about that great time when Barney Stinson made some rules!

The second part entitled The Sis Code dedicated for this month when my sister stayed in Jakarta. She will be back to Surabaya tomorrow, so then I thought to write the code we actually use here in our daily life as sister.

Well, let's start with Barney's part first!

--------------

THE BRO CODE

The Chain of Screaming Theory (S03E15)

Overview: The Chain of Screaming (also known as The Circle of Screaming or The Pyramid of Screaming), states that once screamed at by a higher authority, one must scream at an inferior.
Barney’s Theoretical Application: Marshall’s boss is Artillery Arthur. Arthur’s boss’s boss screams at Arthur’s boss. Arthur’s boss screams at Arthur. Arthur screams at Marshall. Marshall screams at Lily. Lily screams at a student who then screams at her father who turns out to be Arthur’s boss’ boss.
Barney's Prescription: When your boss screams at you, you never scream back. Find an inferior to scream at.

The Mermaid Theory (S06E11)

Overview: Every woman, no matter how initially repugnant, has a mermaid clock— the time it takes for a man to realize he wants to sleep with her. This is due to a woman’s hotness being in direct proportion to the time exposed to her.
Theoretical Origin: Long ago, sailors stuck at sea would get so desperate for female companionship that they started to picture the manatees as foxy fish babes, or mermaids.

The Platinum Rule (S03E11)

Overview: Never date someone you will see on a regular basis. Such relationships never work out in the end and lead to never-ending suffering as those involved would constantly see each other.
The stages include: Attraction, Bargaining, Submission, Perks, Tipping Point, Purgatory, Confrontation, Fall Out and Co-existence (added by Ted)

But apparently, there is the rule above all that rule. A rule to conquer all Barney's rule. It was just a shame that this rule didn't come from Barney. This was from Ted.

2015 Green Day

So something ridiculous happened today. My friend was so innocent that she talked about that green shirt loudly. Then from now on, we enthroned today, January 30 as Green Day, the day when that green shirt tragedy happened. To honor this day, I decided that I will make a post entitled Green Day, picked one Green Day's song with its artwork, every January 30. Today will be the first.
Here it is, I present you. Featuring 2015 Green Day~

Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
Wake me up when September ends

Bring out the bells again
Like we did when spring began
Wake me up when September ends

Here comes the rain again
Falling from the stars
Drenched in my pain again
Becoming who we are

As my memory rests
But never forgets what I lost
Wake me up when September ends
